The Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus), is a mamal and he lives in the trees in Austria. He mesures somewhere between 61 and 85 cm and he weighs somewhere between 4 and 14 kg.
The Koala lives in cool climate. They are usually very big and have got the coat darker and thcker who when they live in warmer climate.
The Koala has got a short trunk and it is robust. It has got a big head. Her nose is small, and her ears are very big and hairy. It is thought that their and hearing play an important role in their leves.
The paws are relatively small, and her fingers are cling to clim the tree with more ease. The Males are distinguishect from the females, because the females wear the bag.
Koalas live in the tree Eucalyptos, but also other trees.
Koalas live in the trees and become active at night. To save energy, they sleep 20 hours a day.
The Koala feeds almost exclusively from leaf and scab, as well as the fruits for eucalyptus.
The adult Koala needs somewhere between 200 and 400 grams leaf a day.
